If you’re going for a traditional Oktoberfest costume with lederhosen and suspenders, you might want to choose an alpine-style Oktoberfest hat to complete the look. While traditionally it was men that wore the iconic wool and felt Alpine hats with the natty little brims, they have become a lot more common for women as well, as they now come in many colours. Socks can be loose and slouchy for men, and are sometimes paired with leg warmers. Women can wear little white ankle socks with a frill over their boots.
